Mary Bartnikowski; author, mother, explorer, and
owner of a thriving photography business in Palo
Alto for 25 years has captured portraits of yoga masters, authors, babies, CEO’s, teens, models, realtors, families, and photographed
over 700 weddings. She has traveled solo on several overland trips
through Asia, Indonesia, and South America doing photography
for her fine art exhibits and leading humanitarian projects.
Mary has recently returned from a solo 6-month around the world, magical, mystical tour of the holy cities of India, the Himalayas of Sikkim, the tropical jungle of Nepal, and the sea-swept island of Sardinia and many sublime adventures in between buying only one-way tickets during the passage - 24,000 miles traveled. Mary has led programs for Stanford University, Apple Computer, and Intel. She has taught photography to the staff of the Nepal Youth Foundation in Kathmandu, taught English for the Santa Theresa Foundation in Villa de Leyva, Colombia, lived in a home for abandoned people, the Home of Baby Jesus, in Obera, Argentina doing photography and writing and during her most recent trip taught English at Parmarth Ashram in Rishikesh, India on the Ganges River and photographed the international yoga festival, photographed students at the Arniko school in Kathmandu, and played with elephants in Nepal learning how to feed, bathe, and ride them every day.
